Companion 1
Class held at Dog Days NW
This class is the perfect way to start your dog on the path to becoming a well-behaved member of your family. In this class, you will learn how to build a strong relationship with your dog based on trust and cooperation. You will also learn how to teach your dog basic obedience commands, such as sit, stay, come, and walk on a loose leash. In addition, we will cover topics such as handling and socialization, polite door manners, and problem solving.
This class is designed for dogs over 18 weeks of age.

It is all a Trick!
Class held at Dog Days NW.
This class has form and function! Are you hoping to get your AKC or Do More With Your Dog trick dog certificates? We will do that in this class.
We can and will cover just about everyting in this class from cute tricks like sitting pretty to practicle tricks like going to a place and staying. This is one of Alison's very favorite classes!

Companion 2
Class held at Dog Days NW
Companion Dog 2 builds upon the obedience skills taught in Companion Dog 1 and is focused on teaching dogs how to remain focused despite distractions. This class is based on the principles outlined in Denise Fenzi's book, Beyond the Backyard, and provides owners with the tools and knowledge to help their dog stay focused in everyday situations. Each class includes a free copy of Beyond the Backyard to help owners get the most out of the class.

This is a rotating class. We will change topics every few weeks. Everything will be coverd from Nosework, Obedience, Tricks, obstacle Course and more. Have a special request? Just ask!

Companion 3
Class held at Dog Days NW and at the Hockinson Location
Do you love training your dog but don't have any specific goals? Or maybe you think your dog isn't quite ready for the performance classes yet. If so, Companion Dog 3 is the perfect class for you!
This class is based on all the Levels in Sue Ailsby's book, Training Levels - Steps to Success. The first Level is covered in the Companion Dog 1 class.
This class is only available by getting on the waitlist! Class is scheduled after enough people have shown interest.
